mySugr GmbH

mySugr GmbH develops a digital diabetes management platform with a mobile app, connected glucose meters, bolus calculator and insulin pump control, used across 82 countries.

mySugr GmbH builds digital health tools for people with diabetes. Founded in Vienna in 2012 by people with diabetes for people with diabetes, the company develops clinically validated software that supports daily therapy management: blood sugar monitoring, carbohydrate counting and insulin dose calculation. Its technical work spans mobile health, diabetes management software, connected medical devices, bolus calculation algorithms, insulin pump control and glucose data analytics.

The product portfolio is anchored by the mySugr app, which gives users tools and insights for managing their daily therapy. Around it sit connected glucose meters that sync blood sugar data to the platform, a bolus calculator for insulin dose assistance, and insulin pump control functionality integrated into the mySugr ecosystem.

The platform reports over 7 million registered accounts across 82 countries. mySugr has been part of Roche since 2017, combining the agility of a technology company with the resources of a global healthcare group. The company describes its mission as reducing diabetes distress and improving glycemic control, and its stated ethos is to “make diabetes suck less” by turning therapy from a chore into a manageable part of life.
